He was Born in Lorraine, Alban left his region to settle down in a small village in Corbières called Feuilla in 2005. He now cultivates there today a little more than 8 hectares of old vines bathed in the southern sun.
Alban cultivates the vines to make wine, and that is his credo! Les Sabots d'Hélène is above all a small artisanal factory producing no-nonsense wines, designed for drinking with friends, wines for good times only. Alban vinifies quite a bit of Carignan, a little Syrah and Mourvèdre (all grown in “Normal Agriculture” he says, in Organic; to produce wines full of sunshine and good humor, without makeup, without inputs, without adding sulphites either; pure juices as we like them, with sometimes very assertive personalities.
