Bodega Cos a Cos

School teacher, Cristóbal Vanyo is originally from Ontinyent, a town located between Valencia and Alicante in Spain. It was in Catalonia, in Terra Alta, where Cristóbal aged his first wine in 2015 with Laureano Serres Montagut, another natural wine artist with whom he continues to collaborate. 

Red, white, rosé, Pet Nat, Ancestral wines, all possible vinifications are covered with fermentations in stainless steel vats, amphorae and barrels. The peculiarity of the Cos a Cos vineyard (melee in Valencian) is to harvest vineyards abandoned for years, with the agreement of the owner when he is identifiable, a guarantee of untreated soils but difficult candidates for certification.

No chemical inputs are used in both the winery and the vineyard, the yeasts are indigenous, the wines are not filtered and do not undergo any mechanical operation other than racking.
