Vinification: Whole-cluster maceration for two weeks, followed by pressing. The wine is then aged partly in oak barrels and partly in qvevri (traditional Georgian clay vessels). Bottled in May 2023.

 

All the Facts

Sourced from 50-year-old vines (planted in 1970) in Ainata, in the Bekaa Valley, at an altitude of 1,700 metres above sea level. The vineyard is planted on limestone soils.
Yield: 10 hl/ha.
Production: Approximately 900 bottles. No added sulfites.
The name Daw Al Amar translates as “Moonlight.” 🌙🍷
